Feature-packed short chassis
A 6.75″ capacitive touchscreen display, smartphone integration, and a nice price makes JVC’s KW-M150BT multimedia receiver a big step up from a factory radio. Count on hands-free calling, music streaming, and playback of music and video files stored on a USB flash drive as well. For Android™ users, the big fun of this receiver is controlling your compatible Android device via screen-mirroring when the parking brake is engaged. And with an incredibly shallow chassis (3″ deep), the KW-M150BT beats installation woes by being a better fit in challenging dashboards.
Mirror, mirror in your dash
With the parking brake engaged and the mirroring app installed on your Android device, you’ll see a mirror image of your smartphone’s screen on the JVC’s display. Opening and controlling apps works the same way it does on your phone.
Bluetooth calling and streaming
Built-in Bluetooth® lets you wirelessly pair your phone with the KW-M150BT for hands-free calling and music-streaming from your favourite music service.
Add an optional backup cam
JVC provides a dedicated input for adding a backup cam. And if you have high-def video files loaded onto a flash drive, this JVC will play them in bright, clear detail when you’re parked.
Make the most of JVC’s 13-band equalizer, deep crossover settings, and built-in digital time alignment. You’ll have solid tools to highlight the depth and detail for all your digital music sources. The KW-M150BT also includes 2-volt RCA preamp outputs that provide a clean signal when it’s time to add amplifiers to your system.
Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver’s Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone’s Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.
iPod/smartphone note: If you’re going to use your iPod or smartphone with this receiver, be sure to check “Details” for compatibility information.
You’ll need a wired connection to your parking brake to access settings and other features on this receiver. Your parking brake must be connected and set in order to view video on its screen.
